About Theresa

Hello! My name is Theresa and I am setting out to share some of my journey because I am passionate about health, fitness and wellness. I eat plant based foods and love being active. I focus my time and energy on getting stronger, achieving optimal health and I feel so good! Mindfulness makes me happy and I try to incorporate mindful practices into my life as much as possible. I have a bachelor of Science in nursing and anthropology. I currently work at a local hospital on a busy cardiac unit. I am originally from Texas, I lived in Alaska for 4 years and have been in Portland for a while now. My husband is a professional cook and is really good at helping me adapt recipes to be mostly healthy and plant based. He also has a lot to do with the whole “plantbased and in your face” aspect of this post. I am setting out to share some of the huge gains we have made in the kitchen following a plant based diet and I am freaking excited!  Also, I have been so inspired by so many creative minds online that I have to share my journey with them and pay some respect. While I have never met any of these individuals, I feel like I know them and they have heavily impacted my life.
